Christmas Pictures

Sawyer & Avery in front of the Christmas tree

Sawyer & Avery in front of the Christmas tree

I was brave and took both kids to get pictures done at the mall. Avery was very cooperative (l guess lunch at the mall was a good incentive) and Sawyer did pretty well, but only for a few pictures. Poor kids, it was so HOT and I made them wear these holiday outfits!

a visit from Pete

Pete & Sawyer

Pete & Sawyer

My good friend Sara Ann was in town from Washington. She had Peter John one day after I had Sawyer! They are so close to being twins! Not knowing it they have the same exersaucer, swing, some clothes, socks and even a sign language chart!! Weird?

warm clothes

If you have any warm clothes (jackets, sweatshirts, pjs…) you are planning to donate or get rid of…

I found a great place to donate them!! My friend Lisa and her family are traveling to San Felipe, Mexico to help build an orphanage. They are collecting warm clothes and food (beans, rice & powdered milk) to take with them. They have a big camper and they want to fill it up! They are leaving mid-November so let me know if you need me to pick up some stuff from you to get to her.

Halloween

The Cameron Clan all dressed up as characters from Peter Pan. Avery dictated who we should dress up as. Originally she wanted me to be Wendy but Wendy only wears a nightgown, and I didn’t think people would know who I was. So we ended up with Avery as Tinkerbell, I was Peter Pan, Dan was Captain Hook and Sawyer was Tick Tock the Crocodile. I guess our costumes were ok, since people did know who we were dressed up as.

carving pumpkins

We finally got to carve our pumpkins on Wednesday. I helped Avery carve a smaller one. She drew the face on the pumpkin and I helped guide the knife to cut our all the stuff. She insisted that we cut out a chin. Then she painted it all colors. When that was all dry she glued on some buttons and beads. There is one bead in the nose of the jack-o-lantern, it’s a booger!

I painted a face on my pumpkin and put a mask on it.

Dan took on the big pumpkin. He carved out the mummy that was on Sawyer’s shirt. Looks pretty good.
