We finally got to the fair. We planned on going earlier in the week but I got sick… a whole other story.
We bought on sheet of 50 tickets and no problem using them up. I got my corn (twice) and Dan got his funnel cake.
Avery was a pilot on a helicopter and a boat, rode on an animal safari train and got dizzy in a tea cup.
I have a freaking stye again! For someone who doesn’t wear makeup I seem to get them often enough! So, if you see me and my left eye looks swollen, Dan didn’t hit me…
We went to see Elmo at the park. At first Avery wanted nothing to do with him… but eventually she gave him a high-five and took a picture with me.
Once again we spent much of the summer at the VC pool doing swim lessons. Thanks again Cookie for all the fun! Next year Avery will be in Happy Face on her own (not with mom).
It was worth every minute we spent there- except for the days the water was COLD. They were few and far between though…
Dan and Martha (I think Martha did the bulk of the work…) set up a great surprise be-day party for me. You guys did a great job! I had tons of fun. I beat Dan at Wii boxing, ate (too much) yummy food, and celebrated with friends. What more could I have asked for?
