I know the answer…

I took a silly quiz called “Do you Drink too Much?” Well, anyone who knows me at all, knows the answer to that.

You Don’t Drink Too Much

Looks like you’re a social drinker, at worst!
Keep partying, but as always, know when you’ve hit your limit.

Ice Skating

I went ice skating the other day. I took my 10 year old niece, Lacey (it was her 2nd time) and my nephew Jack (he is 5 and it was his first time). They both did really well. Lacey won’t veer off the wall very far and Jack used the “walker” thingy. He was racing most of the time and fell a few times but nobody got hurt so it was a good time!

I practiced my backwards skating skills -and I am getting pretty good at it!

Winter Garden Aglow

We ventured out the Winer Garden Aglow. It’s a botanical garden that they put up a bunch of Christmas lights all over the (dead) trees and stuff to make it all festive! It was pretty good, Avery liked the lights, just bloody cold!

Then we went out for ice cream at Cold Stone. Crazy, I know!

SNOW

We arrived in Boise on Wednesday evening after taking off and landing three times! we had a 45 minute delay in Burbank and we never caught up.
On Thursday it snowed! Since we didn’t have much snow stuff for Avery so we went Other Mother, a consignment type store and found some snow pants, a jacket, a pair of snow boots, some long underwear (really PJs) and a hat and glove set. Avery was all decked out and ready to go out in the snow.

We went out and played in the snow. Avery had a ball. I thought she would be over it pretty quick since it was so cold, but she stayed out for a quite a while- longer than me! We even got to “sled” down the driveway a little bit.

CEC

Dan always wants to take Avery to Chuck E Cheese. Finally we went- I haven’t been wanting to go,especially on a Saturday and now I remember why… it was so crowded and the stink was awful! Avery had fun and I know Dan did too. We have a lot left on our card so I know we’ll be going back soon!

Poor Dan hasn’t been to to CEC since he was 10 years old! He has missed it so…

Dan played a few games that gave out tickets while we went to the bathroom so Avery “won” a (lady) bug. She just calls it a bug.

Scavenger Hunt

We had our Wisdom end of the year party tonight. Part of it was a scavenger hunt. We had a list of stuff we had to do and had to take pictures to prove it. Here are some pics, but there are more…
We had to stick three different colored straws up our noses!

And help someone to their car with their groceries.
Our team came in second (out of 2 teams) but we were all winners…

Who thinks of this stuff? You know who it is…

Decorating Cookies

We got to decorate Christmas cookies twice this week!

Avery liked eating the cookies better without the frosting and treats on top. Who’s kid is this?

Ms. Limps a lot

On Friday Avery and I went to the beach at Marina Park. While I was climbing up the rocks I stubbed my toe. I kjust about killed me… I thought I broke it. It began to swell a little bit, so I put it in the cold sand. It hurt so bad, I couldn’t put my shoe on. We went home, took naps… put my shoes back on at 2 to run errands. It was still swollen but I could at least get my shoe on. I took my shoes off again at about 7 that night and the bruise was awful, I could barely look at it.

I could still move it, so I guess it’s not broken. It still hurts and the bruise has gotten better, but still looks pretty nasty.
I even scraped the toe next to it. Not a good trip to the beach.
