’smores
Kenny made smores again! YUM! So, Avery had her first oowey, gooey, chocolaty dessert. I thought Avery would love ‘em but she only had one bite and was done. So of coarse I had to finish it!

Avery is a skater girl!
She rode a skateboard by herself the other day. So funny. She loved it and she kept her balance pretty well.
A: You would have to get a handful of shots to travel to…
B: So like 5 or 6?
C: (Holds up her hand, like she is grabbing something) Hmmm, maybe more like 7 or 8!
I laughed so hard, I cried.
Person “C” is in the 6th grade. Gotta love her!
Avery loves to talk with the phone; the play cell phone, the play “real” phone (meaning it the handle is attched to the phone) and the real phone of coarse.
Does she see me or Dan talking on the phone that much? I don’t think so, since I do a lot my talking on the phone in the car!

She picks up the phone and says “hello.” Funny.
Got this from a friend.
Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day is on Sunday, October 15th. If the spirit moves you, please light a candle at 7 p.m. to honor our loving babies in heaven. May God bless them. The US House of Representatives has now officially recognized the 15th of October as a special day of remembrance for our heavenly babies.
I am sure we all know a few women who observe this day. So sad.
Ok, so I forgot to share our airport experience. The line was long to get through x-ray, but went pretty fast. They checked our photo ID and boarding passes three times before we got through all the x-ray stuff.
1. Everyone has to take off their shoes, jackets, belts…
2. Absolutly no liquid, unless it is medicine or already made baby formula. No water, no juice- nothing. even if it is still sealed. I wonder how much more the airports are making on bottles of water and soda! If you have any kind of lotion, shampoos or makeup, you must take them out of your bag and show them to the people. If they are more than 3 oz they are thrown away and if they don’t fit into a clear one gallon zip lock bag they are thrown away! Good thing Burbank airport was giving the zip lock bags away or else I would have had to throw away my hand lotion and sunscreen I had in my diaper bag. I had to throw away my stinkin’ diaper rash cream- it was over 3 oz! The lady told me if i didn’t want to throw it away, I could simply check my bag!
I think “someone” should stand there and take the sealed stuff as a donation. People were throwing away juice boxes, water bottles, soda bottles… all sealed and new. What a waste.
3. Take your computer out of its case and put it in the x-ray machine by itself. I remember last Christmas I am pretty sure we had to show that is turned on and off, but not this time.
So it wasn’t too bad except that after taking off all the stuff- shoes and jackets, putting the stroller through x-ray… it took me a while to get myself put back together. Did I mention that Avery had to take her shoes off too?
While we were in Washington we also went to the zoo. It was pretty small, like the SB zoo. It was a beautiful day- no rain and the sun was out.
Avery got to touch some of the sea crustations. She liked the large sea star the best.
There was big pool of fish from the North West Pacific Ocean- not too colorful but interesting to see. It was set up so we looked down into it and we were there for feeding time.

While we were in Washington my newfew’s preschool class went to the pumpkin patch. It was really fun. We started out by being able to pet a few of the farm animals; goat, pigs, some ponies, a calf.. Of coarse we washed our hands afterwords.
There was a litter of kittens that were four weeks old. They were so sweet.
Then there was a maze made of hay bales that was pretty low so the adults could see where to go but the kids couldn’t. Then we went on a hay ride to the pumpkin patch where the kids picked pumkins (by the bottom, not the stem) and got to take them home.
There were a few squashed pumpkins so the kids could see what was inside a pumpkin. It was ooey gooey! All this for only $4 a kid!
