Farwell Katie

Katie Couric’s last day on “The Today Show.” She has been on the show for 15 years! They had a great farewell show (not goodbye) this morning.
She is now going to be on CBS.

Swimming on Memorial Day

We spent Memorial Day relaxing. We ate tons of great food with lots of even better friends- you know making memories. The sun was shining. What more could we ask for- friends, food, warm pool, perfect weather and… a happy baby!
Dan was in the water for over 3 hours and yes, he is very PINK now. Avery loved the water too- she just kept wanting to jump in, good thing Dan was there to catch her!
Thank you Debbie for opening up your home and including us in your BBQ.

Dirty Face

Avery loves to play with the screen door. Open, go outside, close, open, come back inside… 20 minutes later… still playing with the door. Today she decided to “talk” through the door. Her face was so dirty… she looks like a chimney sweep- like in Mary Poppins!

Chim chimney, chim chimeny, chim chimc cheree…

Can’t you just see her floating with an umberella in her hand…

Playdate…

Today, Sadie came over to play. The three of us had a full day.

We walked to the park, had lunch, napped (for a long time), went swimming and then took a bath- notice the mohawks. A lot for one day!

Marc & Debbie, I hope Sadie sleeps well tonight, I’m sure Avery will.

The day went by pretty fast but…

Cruisin’

The cruise was absolutely awesome. I don’t think I would have changed a thing except maybe more time! Avery was great- no sea sickness or anything. The food was great- I mean for mass-quantity made food, even then- excellent!

Ensanada was interesting- at least the sun was shining. It was pretty touristy- with chachkies to buy and kids in your face selling gum and girls wanting to braid hair. Bingo, game shows, slushy drinks, swimming, comedians… all very fun.

Cruising is definitely something we will do again.

Thank you Kristi for graduating and doing such an awesome job at it!! You rock.

Alexandre Rousseau

Alex Russeau was on one my favorite shows back in the day. She’s only 18 years old! She was on “Malcolm in the Middles,” as Cynthia a Krelboyne who went to Paris for a semester came back with big gazongas! She had a recurring role on the show. I can’t seem to find a picture of her from MITM. This is one from her movie “Children on Their Birthdays,” which was during the time she was on MITM.

Summer Movies

When school’s out, kids around the country come to selected Regal cinemas. Since 1991, Regal has provided a service to the community, and best of all it’s FREE! Regal Entertainment Group hosts a Free Family Film Festival for nine weeks for kids and their parents.

Movies start at 10AM each Tuesday and Wednesday during the festival. First-come, first-served seating is limited to theatre capacity. The Free Family Film Festival is safe, lots of fun and a great way for kids to spend a weekday morning in the summer.

Tickets for our 2006 Free Family Film Festival are available only on the day of the show.

The closest one I found on line was in Camarillo at the Camarillo Palace 12, 680 Ventura Boulevard. The best part is it’s free, the second best is that it’s near the outlet mall!!
