What a babe.
On Wednesdays Avery & I go to Camino Real Park to hang out with friends. Today Rory was able to sit by himself and Lexi and Avery were “talking.”
We went out to dinner at Aloha Steak House for Dan’s 26th birthday. It was a great dinner and Avery was well behaved. Dan got a special dessert since it was his birthday.
You can’t see it in this picture but he got a new pink golf shirt from Avery and an iPod that has music and pictures on it. He loves them both.
Avery had her first three shots yesterday afternoon. She was fine (slept) till about 5:30, then she was VERY cranky and there was nothing we could do. We then found out we could give her Tylonol. At 8 we gave her some and she was out. She was so tired from crying she slept hard. She slept well last night so hopefully she’ll be back to her happy self.
Tomorrow afternoon Avery is getting her first round of shots. I’m not looking forward to this doctor’s appointment. I hope she isn’t too cranky or uncomfortable. I hope she’s as peaceful tomorrow as she is in this picture. We’ll see.
Fred came into work today at the pool with a really good story. He was in Oxnard running some errands when a guy cut him off. Fred honked his horn at the guy and his horn got stuck! He had to drive all the way to Ventura, by the beach, with his horn blaring the whole way! He said people were pissed at him and were honking back and some people even got out of his way.
Rory, a very proud American, is happy it’s the 4th of July! Hoby is proud that his son is so patriotic.
