11 months

Sawyer now has his top teeth! It was a painful few days. He kept waking up at night and was pretty fussy during the day, but when both teeth finally popped out he was happy again. While we were galavanting in Vegas we noticed he got the next two teeth on top too. Those top front teeth are biggins’!!

Sawyer likes to open up the tupperware cabinet and take just about everything out and spread it out all over the kitchen floor. This at least entertains him for up to 15 minutes. Then it takes me half an hour to wash it all and put it back!

We started swimming lessons at the college. Sawyer and I are in the Water Babies class. We swim about 20 minutes, then we hit the shower while Avery keeps swimming and joins us later.

He is doing so much better about playing by himself and letting me walk by without crying and carrying on. He likes to hang out in the backyard swing while I make dinner. Avery likes to give him a few pushes while she “helps” me with dinner. He loves Avery’s kitchen. He “helps” her make pizza and cookies. Such healthy chefs!

Fourth of July was fun. He liked riding in his car through the parade.

Sawyer giggles & laughs and it just makes us laugh too. He is so ticklish too- like Dan! He smiles most of the time. People stop us all the time to “talk” to him. He just smiles at everyone and waves at some people. He is pretty much happy  until he is hungry or tired… then watch out!!

Hard to believe that Sawyer is almost 1 year already! Where has the time gone? I think about that after every month that has gone by…
