Pumpkin Patch

While we were in Washington my newfew’s preschool class went to the pumpkin patch. It was really fun. We started out by being able to pet a few of the farm animals; goat, pigs, some ponies, a calf.. Of coarse we washed our hands afterwords.

There was a litter of kittens that were four weeks old. They were so sweet.

Then there was a maze made of hay bales that was pretty low so the adults could see where to go but the kids couldn’t. Then we went on a hay ride to the pumpkin patch where the kids picked pumkins (by the bottom, not the stem) and got to take them home.

There were a few squashed pumpkins so the kids could see what was inside a pumpkin. It was ooey gooey!  All this for only $4 a kid!
