    i almost went last year until i found out about the stupid renaissance part. why do they have to muck up awesome pirates with smelly broads (instead of bucksome wenches), dudes with bad fake accents (instead of good fake accents…arrr!), and weird instruments (instead of rum).

    Did you know I used to work with one of the 2 guys who invented “talk like a pirate day”? His name is Mark Summers and his pirate name is Cap’n Slappy. He is a RIOT! I hated leaving him behind in Oregon! Anyhow, hope you went and had arrrrrriot!
