“Make a card for a soldier” via the Red Cross

When Avery read this one, she looked at me like I was nuts. I explained to her who a soldier could be- a mom or dad who isn’t with their family because they have an important job very far away. She has a friend whose dad was in Afghanistan for a long time, so she has some sort of reference to this situation.

Sawyer and I met a few friends at the park to make some cards while Avery was in school.

Now to get these lovely cards in the mail!!
