New Powder Room

We decided to gut our downstairs bathroom (powder room) and replace everything in it. Dan took everything out one weekend, we bought everything to put back in, I primed and painted it during the week and it was all put back together by the next weekend. Next, we will take on the upstairs bathroom- that will be a feat! It will probably take a bit longer than one week though!

    I’m concerned about the statue.

    Funny, you are the first one to say anything about him. That is the “manikin piss”. There is an actual statue of him in downtown Brussels, Belgium. The story is, there was a boy (Julian) who ran away from home and his father (a rich guy) said that wherever his son was found he would erect a statue of him. Of coarse he was found peeing on a wall! There is a museum that has a bunch of costumes for the Manikin to wear- different countries have donated costumes for him. The American one is an “Uncle Sam” style one, hat and all!
