At around 3 am I heard Avery calling, “Mom, mom … mom,” quite loudly. I woke up and went to help her, but it was pitch black and I had no idea where she was. Usually there’s a night light in the bathroom, so I can at least see my way to the bathroom or her room… but the light had gone out at some point and it was pitch black.
I called out, “Where are you?” She answered, “in the bathtub.” I was even more confused. I turned the (very bright) light on in the bathroom … and there she was sitting on the edge of the bathtub. I had to ask, “What are you doing? What do you need?” Her response, “I couldn’t find the toilet so I peed in the bathtub.” Huh? I was cracking up!
Hmmm… ok, at least she didn’t pee on herself or the ground….
Yes, I did rinse the tub & replace the night light before going back to back.

Yes, we are happy she didn't decide to pee in our room. She's come close to doing that a few times, due to being half asleep still. We've had to guide her to the bathroom.
